WHAT TO EXPECT

Summer with Amigos offers kids an exciting opportunity to learn basic Spanish vocabulary and phrases while they engage in exciting outdoor and indoor activities including games, arts and crafts, and spray park fun.

Our camp incorporates mindful learning activities, this means that campers will be encouraged to learn and put in practice abilities such as mindfulness, movement, gratitude, curiosity, etc.

Each week has been designed with a different theme. Kids will be involved in a wide range of fun activities and will learn basic Spanish vocabulary from different weekly topics.

Families can register their children for one or multiple weeks.

AGES

6 to 9 years old.

CAMP DATES AND HOURS

Our day summer camp activities run each week from Monday to Friday in the months of July and August from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. (Camp does not run on August 1st)

Camper Drop off: 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
Camper Pick up: 4:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

SAMPLE SCHEDULE

Most of the camp's activities will be done outdoors in the morning and noon, washroom and water/snack breaks are scheduled throughout the day. In the afternoon we will spend time indoors for arts & crafts, board games, and other fun indoor activities.

In case of rain or inclement weather indoor activities will take place.

AFTER CARE

We offer an extended after-care pick up option from 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM for an additional fixed fee of $25 per camper, per week regardless of how many days extended care is needed in a week.

FEES

Weekly rate: $210 per camper, per week

*Week 5 is a reduced rate of $180 (4-day week)

After care rate: $25 per camper per week

To secure a spot in the camp, families must submit a complete registration form and have paid all camp fees by 1:00 pm on the Friday prior to the camp start day. Subject to space availability.

WHAT TO BRING

Campers should be dressed in clothing suitable for physical activity and appropriate for the weather.

All campers should bring:

Sunscreen
Bug spray
Sunhat
Water
Snacks and lunch (nut or peanut free) *It is recommended to pack lunch in a cooler lunch bag.
Running/comfortable shoes

If participating in spray park fun also bring:

Swimsuit or shorts & t-shirt
Swim shoes (optional)
Change of dry clothes
Wet bag or plastic bag for wet clothes
Towel

*We recommend to label all personal items with the child’s name.
